Kifaru Youth and Children Centre (KYCC) is designed to enable vulnerable and marginalized children, youth and adults to become healthy, self-sufficient citizens through Education, Entrepreneurship  and Compassion.

Preschool Education Class

Providing academic and social skills to prepare young children for school and life.

Academic Tutoring

Offering tutoring and exam preparation for students to ensure academic success.

Vocational Training

Equipping older students with skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship Program

Supporting young adults in business creation and financial independence.

Health & Well-being

Promoting healthy lifestyles through hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention, while using KYCC-grown produce to support local feeding programs.

Support for Disabled

Offering resources for physical needs and emotional support to disabled individuals.

Guiding Principles

Healthy Living

We promote healthy lifestyles through hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. Produce and crops grown on KYCC property will be used in our feeding program at KVA, Kiratu Victory Academy.

Environmental Education

We teach respect for natural resources by providing hands-on experiences in the physical environment. Activities include planting trees surrounding KYCC property, raising crops, and maintaining a garden.

Language Acquisition

We help children develop spoken and written English language skills to prepare them for a wider variety of future opportunities.

Safety

KYCC is dedicated to creating safe and nurturing environments where children, youth, and entrepreneurs can thrive. Our programs prioritize protection, trust, and stability to empower individuals to achieve their full potential.

Karatu victory academy

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve reached our $60,000 goal and successfully purchased the 6-acre property for Karatu Victory Academy! Thanks to your generous support, Phase 1 of our long-range plan is complete. This land will serve as the foundation for our vision of creating a private school of excellence for students from preschool through high school.

Now, as we embark on Phase 2, we aim to develop the infrastructure needed to bring this vision to life. This includes constructing classrooms, administrative buildings, and playgrounds, ensuring every student has access to quality education in a nurturing environment.
